Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Melissa Harris knew at an early age that she had the aspirations and goals to do anything she wanted to do. Her level of customer service began as soon as she could walk and talk, and there was no one who could stop her then, and no one who could stop her now. Gifted with the ability to interact and communicate with others, Melissa grew a natural talent in the administration and customer service fields. Her common knowledge of satisfying clients and consumers constantly advanced as she pursued and maintained positions within the corporate world. Establishing a great name and fabulous work ethics gained her the knowledge and professionalism that she needed to reach her main career goals such as; event planning and consultation, promotions, and public relations. In 2003, Melissa began her journey in the entertainment field by attending The Omega Studios School of Applied Recording Arts and Sciences, obtaining her Certificate in The Essentials of the Music Business and Arist Management and then becoming the Managing Editor for Elan Extreme Magazine . While working with the magazine she was able to not only work with the best motivators and mentors in the industry, but she was also able to work with a host of celebrities, which gave her the connection and status she needed to pursue her future goals. From then on it became non-stop, and Melissa was able to travel and attend various events, which gave her some real good concepts and ideas for her business. Her mission was to grow a business in which she could incorporate personal assistance, promotions, and event consultation for various celebrities and venues. Teaming up in 2007 with known promoters in the D.C. area; Hypnotik Entertainment, I.D.C, and Usual Suspectz to name a few, gave Melissa that flavor she needed to grow insight on the world of club promotions and public relations. She quickly grasped the concepts and ethics on what it took to be a professional event planner and promoter, which led her to become administrative officer for Hypnotik Entertainment, as well as Co-Founder and Director of Events for Collision P.R. & Events, in 2008.

"I just love being an Artist... being able to express myself, perfect my crafts, and take advantage of all the versatility it offers." Spoken well from an Entertainer and "superstar in the making." Perhaps one of the hardest working women in show business, Tyi Flood conquers all aspects of the Entertainment Industry by stepping foot in the fields of Singing, Songwriting, Dancing, Acting, Modeling, and TV/Radio (VJ/DJ). As if that isn't enough, she has also stepped onto the business side of things, becoming an entrepreneur and former partner of Jestyi Music, LLC (an independent music publishing company) and now Collision P.R. & Events. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Tyi Flood grew up with the love of music in her heart, mind, body, and soul. Starting at the early age of 4, she began singing in the church choir, dancing in ballet slippers, and beginning her journey as a performer. "My room was my stage, including the mirrors, and cabbage patch kids to make up the audience, and fans." By the age of 12, Tyi realized her love for fashion, and took up the hobby of modeling...then acting...and by the age of 14 she was already achieving her goals to become a full-fledged "Artist." Attending the infamous Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC allowed the transition to be even more appealing and beneficial. Tyi submerged in the recording artist scene at 15 years old, by recording, singing, and performing at different venues around the D.C. Area. Of course, like a lot of young female artists, she began recording and singing while in a female group. Eventually they parted ways and she began to do her own thing. As a solo artist, with inspirations from Faith Evans, Yolanda Adams, Angela Winbush, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Teena Marie, and Miki Howard to name a few, Tyi did her thing in full effect. She has been featured on numerous projects within the Washington, DC Hip-Hop community such as Black Batz, Dark Alley (Flip The Script), and 2-Face The Don(Cartel Ent), and has performed on stage amongst many talented artists such as Non-Chalant, Tonya Blount, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth(The Apprentice), and Chinky (LovHer) to name a few. While working in Radio Broadcasting at CBS Radio (formerly known as Infinity Radio/VIACOM), Tyi studied Broadcasting/Communications and began to take on the lead to take over that field as well. Working as a co-host on Mad Flavor TV, URSCENE RADIO (www.urscene.com), and Bob Smoke TV, as well as many other local/National shows in the area, Tyi's made Radio/TV Broadcasting her #1 priority. Presently hosting and producing her own radio/talk show "The T-TIME Show" on WFLO-The Flow (www.im4radio.com), and acting in successful films "The Ties That Bind" & "A Runners Dream," Tyi has proven that hard work pays off, and she continues to make her dreams reality. You can catch her co-hosting Mad Flavor and Bob Smoke TV, Producing & Hosting "The T-Time Show", in Magazines, Calendars, and acting in upcoming Films/Movies. Keep your eyes & ears open, because this lady is reaching for the stars! Be on the lookout for this young, talented, beautiful, and aspiring Artist to grace your local venues and TV/Radio stations!
